LITTLE ROCK — The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has been awarded a significant $75,000 donation from the Council for Regional Health Education. This generous contribution will be used to create the Senator C. Wayne Dowd Endowed Excellence Fund in Family Medicine. The fund is aimed at bolstering the Family Medicine Residency Program at UAMS's Southwest Regional Campus located in Texarkana.
