Lamar CISD Board Secures $25,000 in H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards

The Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a $25,000 award as part of the prestigious H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards. This recognition not only highlights the district's commitment to educational excellence but also underscores the hard work and dedication of its staff and administration.

Earlier this year, the district celebrated the achievements of its educators by naming 50 teachers, principals, and counselors as finalists for individual awards. Among these finalists were 10 exceptional candidates representing various Houston-area school districts, including Katy, Fort Bend, Humble, Conroe, and Houston ISDs.
